Adding Wiki Content
In order to add any content to this site you will need to register as a member of this wiki community, it need not be a life long commitment on your part unless you want it to. Absolutely anyone can add content of any suggested type. Moderators are on hand to assist and suggest with content and layout if required, it is SoSLUG policy that your content is your own creation for this reason we do not alter anything unless asked to do so.
You will be asked for a username and email address both are necessary, select Create new account from under the User Login Dialog, it is possible that your username will not be accepted if this is the case simply choose another username, the address you type in for your email must also be valid otherwise we will not be able to respond with your password which you can alter later.
Once your registration has been accepted you will be returned to the main wiki page, check your email at some point to determine your password which has been posted to you using the email address given.
Basic Site Layout
This is self explanatory stuff really, you have two options available this applies to novice, moderators or administrators, under the heading of your login name is a link called Create Content clicking this option will display two other options, Image and Wiki Page.
Wiki Page
Like "HTML" (Hyper Text Markup Language) wiki pages use standard formatting techniques to produce formatted page documents, the format is controlled with the use of special symbol definitions to add to your titles, headings, paragraphs and text definition (bold, italics etc), these symbols quickly produce the desired format page document.
