Now my shiny Eee is running Ubuntu nice and smoothly, it was time to invalidate the warranty and add some funky goodies in the shape of extra storage and bluetooth. The 701 conveniently has some space next ti the memory slot, and this is a great place to hide the newly added gadgets. A quick trip to tesco's procured the necessary hardware 8gb usb pen drive bluetooth adapter 4 port usb hub Next the fun part, break open the adapters, and remove the sockets to reveal the bare pcbs. The Bluetooth adapter minus its shell 8Gb oen drive with usb connecter removed 4 port hub stripped and connected all 3 wired in and tested and lastly the finished product, eee-ubuntu showing the bluetooh icon alittle tidying to put the cover and mission accomplished. all these images were taken on my phone and bluetooth'd accross to the Eee where this page was writtern
